How to Help

Get involved in your community

Right now, the elderly and other vulnerable members of our community are in serious need. They rely on our Jewish institutions to provide food programs, home care visits and more. But the COVID-19 crisis has also put our institutions at risk, which means our entire community is at risk. It is where and how we come together to learn, to pray and to enable our children to develop a love of Judaism and Jewish life.

In the midst of this crisis, we must find ways to support what we have worked so hard to build – the foundations for flourishing Jewish communities in North America and around the world: today, tomorrow and for generations to come.

An order was placed for

1.6 Million

pieces of personal protective equipment

We’re supporting our heroes at home and across the globe, galvanizing our resources to collect personal protective equipment. The needs are growing daily, and we determined to meet them.

Jewish nonprofits are accessing the

$60 Billion

Government’s SBA Loan Program

With in-person events and programming cancelled or moved online, usual funding sources are dwindling. Layos and a precarious stock market are impacting donor endowments and gifts. Jewish nonprofits are struggling with a depletion of revenue; help us to keep them operating.

Federations have allocated an additional

$72 Million

to meet the growing local needs

Federations have opened Emergency Campaigns to meet vital local needs such as food and medicine delivery, transportation to hospitals for those in critical condition and assisting families in acute financial need.
